In the 6th minute, Prudencio Chumo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Jayvier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Benedicto Jayvier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Louis, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Americo Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play, C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's Prudencio Chumo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Jayvier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedicto Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Laureano Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Quijano's zone, Victorino Lyadzhin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Jayvier came out of the goal and Victorino Lyadzhin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruperto Abad charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Abad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Manchester Quijano booed when C. A. Gral. Lamadrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Americo Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Louis scored 1-4 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Jayvier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Louis came free, but Benedicto Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Emiliano Louis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Benedicto Jayvier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruperto Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Manchester Quijano's Mario Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Ferran in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Geronimo Arce's late challenge caught a Manchester Quijano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester Quijano's goalkeeper Benedicto Jayvier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaudencio Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Jakes in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute C. A. Gral. Lamadrid were awarded a corner. Victorino Lyadzhin went to the cornerflag to take it. Benedicto Jayvier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Chumo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Mario Ferran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gaudencio Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Manchester Quijano defense, Prudencio Chumo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Jayvier. The Manchester Quijano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Jayvier should have stopped the shot. Baldomero Beremundo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
