Florentino Selmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Mariano Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Ubarna in the 12th minute of the match. Sven-Olof Hamberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Selmo having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Pastor Cayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La MaKina del Parque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clason the free kick. The supporters of Clason booed when La MaKina del Parque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Cayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clason's Christian Ubarna in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ubaldo Regis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La MaKina del Parque's Luis Pere got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Olof Hamberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Florentino Selmo made a huge save. In the 40th minute Gustavo Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Luis Pere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Clason's zone, Erubiel Ereinotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Selmo came out of the goal and Erubiel Ereinotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Quirce was the one to do the kick off. 67 minutes into the game, Felipe Ongile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clason's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La MaKina del Parque the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Clason:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La MaKina del Parque:s goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clason's goalkeeper Florentino Selmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Clason's zone, Sven-Olof Hamberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Selmo came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Hamberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentino Selmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Pere in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Luis Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Gustavo Telesforo made a precise shot to the right of Ubaldo Regis. La MaKina del Parque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Clason getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gregorio Derwin hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Clason's Gustavo Telesforo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ubaldo Regis. That made the score 2-3 after 94 minutes of play. Ubaldo Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Ubarna in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Clason walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
