Alejo Maura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Enrique Egoitz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Eusko in the 22nd minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Jaime Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Nafarroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Eron in the 32nd minute of play forced Masked Stars FBJ's goalkeeper Marcelo Qwinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Masked Stars FBJ got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Florian. If Narciso Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Masked Stars FBJ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Daniel Maurin hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Erubiel Chuan made the kick off in the second half. Jaime Nafarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Maurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sebastian Edur charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Edur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Edur kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jaime Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Maura in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute Daniel Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anacleto Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Naelio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jaime Ubendu's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Ubendu helped the player get up and apologised.
