The referee showed Matias Nalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Matias Nalo. In the 11th match minute, Valhalla Time was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Delmar Quico notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Valhalla Time's Isidro Leheren. Isidro Leheren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Delmar Quico put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Isidro Leheren. Isidro Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Valhalla Time booed when Hortensia FCG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hortensia FCG's Isidoro Tercero got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Hortensia FCG's Delmar Quico in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Hortensia FCG booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Isidoro Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Delmar Quico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Leheren was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Isidro Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Valhalla Time defense, Esteban Raebert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Leheren. The Valhalla Time fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Leheren should have stopped the shot.

After 53 minutes, Lucio Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valhalla Time and the Hortensia FCG players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valhalla Time's Lucio Gil got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Delmar Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Isidro Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Valhalla Time getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Robustiano Mattin hit a great ball. Isidro Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Quico in the 59th minute of play. Isidro Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Hortensia FCG got a corner. Valhalla Time's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmar Quico ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot by Esteban Rumaldo from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Isidro Leheren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Delmar Quico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Isidro Leheren made a huge save. Lucio Gil hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Esteban Rumaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Leheren skillfully saved the ball. Isidro Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natalio Abreu in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Quico in the 74th minute of play forced Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Isidro Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Crescencio in the 78th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Gil. 84 minutes into the game, Ciro Crescencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valhalla Time's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hortensia FCG the free kick. A collision led to Valhalla Time getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ciro Crescencio hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Gil. In the 88th minute, Delmar Quico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidro Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dalmacio Kiliz fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valhalla Time's protests and gave Dalmacio Kiliz a yellow card for diving instead. Hortensia FCG's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
