Cayetano Garoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Benjamin Florian came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Masked Stars FBJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Florian couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Masked Stars FBJ's Alejo Maura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Garoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PARA QUE TE TRAJE's Cayetano Garoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save PARA QUE TE TRAJE from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Masked Stars FBJ booed when PARA QUE TE TRAJE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to PARA QUE TE TRAJE getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Clemente Laurendi hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, PARA QUE TE TRAJE's Ciro Quin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ciro Quin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PARA QUE TE TRAJE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ciro Quin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Masked Stars FBJ booed when PARA QUE TE TRAJE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes in the game Victorio Joseph after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Cayetano Garoa. A very good opportunity. In the 36th minute Elias Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Garoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Alejo Maura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Masked Stars FBJ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Daniel Maurin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cayetano Garoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Masked Stars FBJ. PARA QUE TE TRAJE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Anacleto Pierres scored to the left of an out of position Cayetano Garoa, making the score, 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Maurin to make the kick off. Alejo Maura charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
