Alberto Diagur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Orlanda in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Mauro Odon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encarale a la gordita the free kick. The supporters of Encarale a la gordita booed when PGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Odon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Popcorn Haedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cristo Noe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristo Noe made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Esteban Frasco sent off a good shot on target. Saturnino Ospin charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Ospin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, PGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Ospin to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play, Encarale a la gordita's Eulalio Weather made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristo Noe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristo Noe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 6-1. In the 44th minute, PGE FC's Esteban Frasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristo Noe. Cristo Noe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-1. Cristo Noe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Frasco went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Popcorn Haedo made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Encarale a la gordita defense, Popcorn Haedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Noe. The Encarale a la gordita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Noe should have stopped the shot. Cristo Noe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Frasco in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Hechter in the 59th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Cristo Noe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Encarale a la gordita's Genaro Gartxot got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cristo Noe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PGE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Popcorn Haedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Noe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Odon in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the PGE FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
