Severiano Herena scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Nerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Petrigai during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 minutes, Timoteo Geleberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapovihesa FC and the Seclantas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Mapovihesa FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Geleberto. A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Severiano Herena hit a great ball. After 35 minutes, Jesus Odilon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapovihesa FC and the Seclantas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Jesus Odilon got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Modesto Felipo hit a great ball. If Cecilio Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Jesus Odilon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seclantas AFC's Rodrigo Nerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Osoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Derwin in the 54th minute. The supporters of Seclantas AFC booed when Mapovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Odilon in the 56th minute of play forced Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Seclantas AFC's Cecilio Vela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genaro Osoro. Genaro Osoro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. With a little luck, Mapovihesa FC's Genaro Osoro got control of the ball when Filiberto Derwin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ulises Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Seclantas AFC's zone, Jesus Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Nerio came out of the goal and Jesus Odilon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Seclantas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Jusepe. Jesus Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Herena in the 75th minute of play forced Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Modesto Felipo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mapovihesa FC's protests and gave Modesto Felipo a yellow card for diving instead. Ulises Azeari came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Genaro Osoro could save by the left post. Cecilio Vela kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Jesus Odilon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rodrigo Nerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Marciano Suero came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Mapovihesa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Suero couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mapovihesa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Seclantas AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
