AC Batán's Carolo Lluis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Francho in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Octavio Marcones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andino Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Batán the free kick. A collision led to Andino Sport Club getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Octavio Marcones hit a great ball. Silvano Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Orland in the 8th minute of the match. Carolo Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Andino Sport Club's goalkeeper Silvano Demesio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Poncio. After a rather tough play, Andino Sport Club's Pablo Aimar got a free kick in the 18th minute. The supporters of Andino Sport Club booed when AC Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Eztebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ceferino Guter kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Carolo Lluis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Francho in the 37th minute of play. Carolo Lluis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Francho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florencio Ugutz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Batán's protests and gave Florencio Ugutz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AC Batán getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Florencio Ugutz hit a great ball. Lisandro Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Silvano Demesio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Batán's Benedicto Claude. But to his dismay, Benedicto Claude quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, Andino Sport Club's Carolo Lluis threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pablo Aimar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute, Lisandro Francho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andino Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Carolo Lluis made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lisandro Francho sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Francho got free with Carolo Lluis in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carolo Lluis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Eztebe in the 63rd minute of the match. Andino Sport Club's Silvano Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Poncio in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, AC Batán's Carolo Lluis got control of the ball when Lisandro Francho tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC Batán's Carolo Lluis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save AC Batán from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Franchos short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Carolo Lluis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 70 in the game by Lisandro Francho from a close distance when the talented Carolo Lluis managed to make a qualified save. AC Batán's players were relieved. Denis Hurko's late challenge caught a Andino Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Hurko helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Hurko kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Frederik during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Igor Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Claude missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 82 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Silvano Demesio right hand side. Alfredo Poncio scored 2-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvano Demesio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Aimar in the 91st minute of play forced AC Batán's goalkeeper Carolo Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Lluis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Aimar's shot from short distance in the 91st minute.
