After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Clodoveo Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mazorca's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Gartxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Clodoveo Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Bastiaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Generoso Nabar made a huge save. Angelo Gaizkine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Sendoa having to interfere. Generoso Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to La Mazorca getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dario Pelagius hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Angelo Gaizkine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mazorca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Frichoso Ondovilla got a free kick in the 47th minute. Nicanor Peyo, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half La Mazorca were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Bastiaro made a kick off. Dario Pelagius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Sendoa having to make a save. Generoso Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Bastiaro in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as La Mazorca's Dario Pelagius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicasio Sendoa. That made the score 0-4 after 65 minutes of play. Clodoveo Gartxot kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Mazorca the free kick. Tomás Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
