BFC 1982's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ambrosio Etxatxu in the 18th minute. In the 21st match minute, BFC 1982 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Jakue to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match BFC 1982 got a corner. Dragons AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ambrosio Etxatxu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Inocencio Corderall's late challenge caught a Dragons AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Corderall helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dragons AFC booed when BFC 1982 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Corderall didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, BFC 1982's Abel Bordat got control of the ball when Leon Hotz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Hotz in the 38th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 44th minute when Ambrosio Etxatxu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Placido Dominix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Leon Hotz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons AFC's protests and gave Leon Hotz a yellow card for diving instead. BFC 1982's Ambrosio Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Napier struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Reynaldo Jordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BFC 1982. In the 65th minute, BFC 1982's Ambrosio Etxatxu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Jordy. Reynaldo Jordy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Reynaldo Jordy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hector Napier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. When BFC 1982's Ambrosio Etxatxu in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragons AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Corderall got free with Reynaldo Jordy in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Lázaro Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The BFC 1982 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BFC 1982 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
