With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Refugio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Cornelio Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Ranchos's Damian Ceandro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Damian Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Cordaryals short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Ramsay Bolton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Florencio Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Semeno in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Salvador Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naboonga OFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Peio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Refugio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Valente might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Refugio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Valente ran back to his position shaking his head. Florencio Refugio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Valente went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the game, Damian Valente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Florencio Refugio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Valente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florencio Refugio having to make a save. In the 45thth minute of the game Damian Valente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Ranchos's Florencio Refugio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Valente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
