Geronimo Rainerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 9 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Ixona came free, but Geronimo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Regis came free, but Geronimo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Higinio Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geronimo Rainerio came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon Platense's Benito Ixona. But to his dismay, Benito Ixona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With 39 minutes on the clock, Higinio Acuña commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Quitilipi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Leon Platense. Fabian Ixidor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geronimo Rainerio. 0-5. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eduardo Llorienzo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Ixona in the 48th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Geronimo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Johans made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Ioritz. 59 minutes into the game, Leon Platense's Jeremias Regis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geronimo Rainerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 67 minutes into the match, Benito Ixona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Rainerio. Quitilipi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benito Ixona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With a little luck, Quitilipi's Geronimo Rainerio got control of the ball when Benito Ixona tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Benicio Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Roberto Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Johans in the 83rd minute of the match. Geronimo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quitilipi's Geronimo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Regis in the 92nd minute of play. Geronimo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Regis in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Quitilipi booed when Leon Platense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leon Platense walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
