Blas Gaizkine charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Gaizkine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blas Gaizkine hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Gustavo Galindo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Jonas Paskal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Ψ virgen Ψ booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ψ virgen Ψ's Victorino Diaz got a free kick in the 11th minute. Fernan Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Roman Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ψ virgen Ψ the free kick. 16 minutes into the game, Ψ virgen Ψ's Victorino Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Ibon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Efrain Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Fernan Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Diaz in the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Ψ virgen Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Lobo. 31 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Sayvion came free, but Fernan Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Koldobika's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Paskal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Pablo Sayvion made a precise shot to the right of Fernan Ibon. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 42 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Cordario. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Gonzales to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernan Ibon was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Blas Espiridion capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blas Espiridion really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When Fausto Gonzales came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ψ virgen Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Gonzales couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes in the game, Blas Espiridion fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fernan Ibon having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Fernan Ibon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Gonzales. 71 minutes into the match, Fausto Gonzales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Ibon. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Gonzales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Espiridion in the 76th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Fernan Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelaria FC's Fernan Ibon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria FC from getting a goal against them. In the 84th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Ibon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Garikoitz in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Claudio Garikoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gustavo Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Lobo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gustavo Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ψ virgen Ψ played a much better game than Candelaria FC and deserved their victory. The Candelaria FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
