Mercado Paulista F.C:s Angelo Romano showed great skill when he stopped Jonas Lluis:s penalty. Edelmiro Hotz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Hotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Hotz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pegaso FC booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Romano stood somewhat misplaced when Astor Tono came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Israel Santo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mercado Paulista F.C's zone, Astor Tono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Romano came out of the goal and Astor Tono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Selatse. Aquiles Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Ralondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Hotz came free, but Angelo Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Natalio Ralondo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Astor Tono made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Romano. Mercado Paulista F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rolando Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Prudencio Bixintxo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Angelo Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Tono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Fidensio in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Formerio saved Pegaso FC from getting behind. Pegaso FC were furious when Leo Selatse was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Aquiles Formerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Ralondo in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alvaro Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Fidensio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Formerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Israel Santo got a free kick in the 80th minute.
