Amancio Abancens ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Ariel Burko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Ariel Burko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Guillem was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Fernando Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's Vicente Gerazan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The La Candela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Talleres's performance. The match ended with a win for Talleres.
