After 3 played minutes Zurdo FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Pabla. 6 minutes into the game, FMArgentina's Evaristo Sagrario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Timo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 9 minutes, Camilo Precioso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FMArgentina and the Zurdo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Camilo Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Robustiano Frederik in the 10th minute really tested Romulo Ursino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Silvestre Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zurdo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Cordario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Sagrario in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's Evaristo Sagrario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Timo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute Evaristo Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute FMArgentina were awarded a corner. Camilo Precioso went to the cornerflag to take it. FMArgentina's Camilo Precioso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guillermo Timo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Evaristo Sagrario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Timo having to make a save. Guillermo Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Gonsalve in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of FMArgentina booed when Zurdo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When FMArgentina's Evaristo Sagrario in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Sagrario in the 41st minute of play forced Zurdo FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 48 minutes on the clock, Delmar Batista commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of FMArgentina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 50th play minute Robustiano Frederik came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romulo Ursino. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Quinto to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FMArgentina getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Camilo Precioso hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FMArgentina's zone, Robustiano Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Ursino came out of the goal and Robustiano Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Timo having to interfere. With an all-out effort, FMArgentina's Guillermo Timo threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evaristo Sagrario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Fermin Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Quinto in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Evaristo Sagrario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Guillermo Timo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Zurdo FC's Guillermo Timo got control of the ball when Horacio Tuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. FMArgentina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
