Rafael Berbiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Flaco Schiavi fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ABUELO FC's protests and gave Flaco Schiavi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Flaco Schiavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Etxekopar in the 10th minute of play forced Lobos's goalkeeper Rafael Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Omar Quinton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lobos's Rafael Berbiz. Rafael Berbiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Rudolfo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Victorio Iyan sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute Sergio Txurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Txurio in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Chesus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Lobos defense, Sergio Txurio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Berbiz. The Lobos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Berbiz should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes in the game, Omar Quinton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rafael Berbiz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Sergio Txurio sped through Lobos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafael Berbiz. 62 minutes into the match, Lobos's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Hori came free, but Rafael Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Sergio Txurio scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Berbiz, making the score, 0-11. In the 82nd minute Sergio Txurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lobos's Rafael Berbiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Lobos from getting a goal against them. Sergio Txurio took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Berbiz. Rafael Berbiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Rafael Berbiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Omar Quinton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 95 minute of play.
