Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Mainumby's Gerardo Oinatz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Beltza to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Edgardo Bertran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Gau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mainumby's Santiago Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cayo in the 8th minute of play. When Cayetano Belasko came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the RED DEVIL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Belasko couldn't finish the play. Santiago Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Cayo in the 10th minute of play. Santiago Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Cayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Luis Semeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mainumby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED DEVIL the free kick. Santiago Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Cayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Pablo Chap ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Gau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Danilo Dominguez came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the RED DEVIL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Dominguez couldn't finish the play. Santiago Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Chap in the 26th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Pablo Chap cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Santiago Gau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rigoberto Santxol scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Rigoberto Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ciriaco Cayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED DEVIL's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Cayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Gau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Valentine made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gerardo Oinatz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Chap in the 44th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Santiago Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Cayo came free, but Santiago Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mainumby's zone, Cosme Kismi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Gau came out of the goal and Cosme Kismi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mainumby's Bernardo Benet was substituted for Benigno Ilazki. Mainumby made a substitution. Isaac Urtungo replaced Rigoberto Santxol. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Cayo made a kick off. Pablo Chap who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Santiago Gau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santiago Gau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Chap went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Oinatz in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Armando Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Gau made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cayetano Belasko sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Pablo Chap notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Mainumby's Santiago Gau. Santiago Gau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonel Enaut scored 2-7 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Gau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 99 minutes into the match, Leonel Enaut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Gau, 2-8.
