Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnulfo Procopio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabricio Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Primo in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Eliseo Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Arnulfo Procopio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Octavio Pagomari scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Chale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabricio Chale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Tolino went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eliseo Tolino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Arnulfo Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimborazo A.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Procopio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Chesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Chimborazo A.F.C getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Severo Cordaryal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo A.F.C's Samuel Oton got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of KIRICOCHO FC booed when Chimborazo A.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Frisco in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo A.F.C's Tiburcio Tello got a free kick in the 26th minute. Anacleto Estefan charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Estefan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Chimborazo A.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Estefan. The supporters of Chimborazo A.F.C booed when KIRICOCHO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save KIRICOCHO FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Chimborazo A.F.C were awarded a corner. Camilo Berdaitz went to the cornerflag to take it. Camilo Berdaitz made a great header on Chimborazo A.F.C's corner, it was just that KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute Eliseo Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Frisco to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Procopio came free, but Alvaro Chesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes, Zeledon Behe made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fabricio Chale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eliseo Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 70 minutes, Robustiano Azibar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KIRICOCHO FC and the Chimborazo A.F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes KIRICOCHO FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Azibar. Chimborazo A.F.C's Arnulfo Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Behe in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the KIRICOCHO FC defense, Zeledon Behe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Chesus. The KIRICOCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Chesus should have stopped the shot. In the 80th match minute, Chimborazo A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Berdaitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 84thth minute of the game Zeledon Behe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Procopio in the 90th minute of play. Alvaro Chesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Behe in the 94th minute of play. Alvaro Chesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
