In the 9thth minute of the game Bernardino Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario Central's Luis Mannie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Carlos Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Rebentala FC got a corner. Rosario Central's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacinto Isauro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jacinto Isauro made a great header on Rebentala FC's corner, it was just that Rosario Central's Luis Mannie managed to reach the ball for a save. 19 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Domingues came free, but Luis Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Mosen during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rebentala FC booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Bernardino Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Guillermo Argi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rebentala FC and the Rosario Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Mannie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Lawrence's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Carlos Lawrence ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Mannie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luis Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Mannie having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Gilesindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rebentala FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Julio Jaunti hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernardino Domingues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Mannie. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Lawrence came free, but Luis Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Lawrence recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Lawrence in the 65th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Luis Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Lawrence in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Carlos Lawrence cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Luis Mannie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Angel Mosen. Andrew Sinclair struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Luis Mannie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rebentala FC. Luis Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Ganix in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Gaudencio Rico got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The nice shot from Andrew Sinclair in the 86thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Luis Mannie had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Luis Mannie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Sinclair in the 91st minute.
