A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Guaberto Chabier hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, La Cosa Nostra's Eustacio Llorienzo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Constantino Elija. Constantino Elija yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Simon Eneto got a free kick in the 10th minute. Eustacio Llorienzo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Leandro Urbes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Bento skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Rene Sanduru got a free kick in the 25th minute. Eustacio Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Atauri in the 33rd minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Flavio Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Elija was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Hector Cordarell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hector Cordarell really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Eustacio Llorienzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantino Elija. Yalapa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Llorienzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Eustacio Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Casimiro Pacorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Llorienzo in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Llorienzo came free, but Constantino Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Eneto to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Hector Cordarell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Cosa Nostra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Constantino Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Cordarell in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Eustacio Llorienzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Elija was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 94th minute, Baldomero Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
