The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victor Zondervan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Cirilo Panpili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Zondervan. C.A.JORGOVAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cirilo Panpili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Quilaquina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Vigil to maneuver through the defense. Quilaquina AFC's Braulio Nalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Quilaquina AFC from getting a goal against them. C.A.JORGOVAN were furious when Aaron Beila was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When Feliberto Nardo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilaquina AFC's protests and gave Feliberto Nardo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A.JORGOVAN booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Silvino charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Silvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A.JORGOVAN booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Medero in the 31st minute of play forced Quilaquina AFC's goalkeeper Braulio Nalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Zondervan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Beila in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Beila in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Zondervan saved C.A.JORGOVAN from getting behind. C.A.JORGOVAN's Victor Zondervan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Panpili in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of C.A.JORGOVAN booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Silvino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, one of Quilaquina AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quilaquina AFC. 46 minutes into the game, Cirilo Panpili cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Victor Zondervan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Cirilo Panpili made the kick off in the second half. If Cirilo Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, C.A.JORGOVAN's Christian Martxot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Nalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Victor Zondervan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Panpili in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Angel Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.JORGOVAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Medero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Feliberto Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Zondervan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes C.A.JORGOVAN got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Etxepare. After recieving a nice pass, Quilaquina AFC's Prospero Beila tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. C.A.JORGOVAN's Victor Zondervan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Panpili in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Quilaquina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Firme to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Quilaquina AFC booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's Cirilo Panpili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Zondervan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prospero Beila struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Victor Zondervan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilaquina AFC. In the 93rd minute, Cirilo Panpili reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Zondervan. The goal made the score 1-4. Quilaquina AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
