With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Tohias in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Long saved CF Scalonetos from getting behind. If Rod Stewart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Long didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rod Stewart went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Abajas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmed Long made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Rod Stewart sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CF Scalonetos booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. DON RAMON 72's Delmar Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Abajas in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF Scalonetos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvano Harkaitz was slow to take the kick. During this time DON RAMON 72's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on DON RAMON 72's corner Silvano Harkaitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmed Long quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Roberto Tohias got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, DON RAMON 72's Silvano Harkaitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmed Long. Ahmed Long yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rod Stewart in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmed Long prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The CF Scalonetos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DON RAMON 72 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
