Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Vaqueteros FC's Melchor Asier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Melchor Asier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Crescencio was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Abelardo Bortzaioriz's late challenge caught a Deportivo Mukenio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Bortzaioriz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Vaqueteros FC's Ezequiel Rencio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ezequiel Rencio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vaqueteros FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ezequiel Rencio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 16 minutes into the game, Cristo Bermudo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mauricio Botello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximiliano Todor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Marcelo Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaqueteros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Marin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Mukenio getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nunez Sanchez hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Bermudo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Botello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Lastur got free with Flavio Crescencio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Deportivo Mukenio booed when Vaqueteros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Botello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Bermudo in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Flavio Crescencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Lastur. Marcelo Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Flavio Crescencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Bermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Mukenio's Flavio Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Lastur in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes Deportivo Mukenio got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Goi. In the 56th minute, Desiderio Bieito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Florentino Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vaqueteros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Lastur couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Vaqueteros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. When Marcelo Marin came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Vaqueteros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Marin couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Vaqueteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Marin. After 83 minutes, Orlando Fanuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaqueteros FC and the Deportivo Mukenio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Orlando Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Florentino Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaqueteros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
