With a little luck, Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot got control of the ball when Domingo Lehior tried to sneak it across the goal line. Espinillos AFC's Marcial Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Tebaldo in the 8th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Bernabe Leguizamón put in a rough tackle. In the 10th match minute, Espinillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. The referee gave Pink Floyd a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristobal Lizer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Espinillos AFC's Marcial Osoitz. 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Rene Eguntsenti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fernando Gartxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Clodoveo Blanco fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pink Floyd's protests and gave Clodoveo Blanco a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Blanco. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Aaron Jon with Fabian Bihar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Pink Floyd booed when Espinillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Martxelin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Rene Eguntsenti fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinillos AFC's protests and gave Rene Eguntsenti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Rene Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Cristobal Lizer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcial Osoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcial Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Tebaldo in the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Torres in the 47th minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Fernando Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Espinillos AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pink Floyd were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Lehior was the one to do the kick off. When Aaron Jon fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pink Floyd's protests and gave Aaron Jon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pink Floyd getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aaron Jon hit a great ball. Fernando Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Domingo Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fernando Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lizer in the 71st minute of play forced Espinillos AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Martxelin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Marcial Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Lizer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcial Osoitz made a huge save. 1-5 became the score in the 90th minute when Cristobal Lizer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Lizer got free with Marcial Osoitz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Lizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
