The Beltrán City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eevald Kadarpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Matthew in the 7th minute of the match. When Aggelos Myroforidis came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Beltrán City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Myroforidis couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Acosta hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Octavio Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Christian Chaime fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beltrán City FC's protests and gave Christian Chaime a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE booed when Beltrán City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Leandro Gasteiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Gasteiz in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Beltrán City FC's Christian Chaime nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Tristan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Rene Tristan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Silban's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Gasteiz in the 36th minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Rene Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rene Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rene Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gasteiz in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's zone, Leandro Gasteiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Tristan came out of the goal and Leandro Gasteiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Paulin charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Paulin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Beltrán City FC's Jonathan Herauso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonathan Herauso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Beltrán City FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonathan Herauso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 82 minutes into the game, one of Beltrán City FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 91st match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Matthew to maneuver through the defense.
