Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Abelardo Ledesma started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Lucio Soin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Tristan was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Justo Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Quinito was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. Kaplan:s René Higuita showed great skill when he stopped Justo Guerrero:s penalty. Justo Guerrero took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Higuita. René Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rene Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Soin in the 17th minute of the match. Rene Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Abelardo Ledesma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Tristan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Justo Guerrero fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's protests and gave Justo Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. Justo Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Abelardo Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. René Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Matthew in the 37th minute of the match. When Lucio Soin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kaplan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Soin couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Serafin Lop hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Acosta to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gaston Matthew made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Serafin Lop sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan didn't even have to move. If Abelardo Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Abelardo Ledesma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rene Tristan. Abelardo Ledesma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 68th minute of the match Justo Guerrero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but René Higuita skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th match minute, Kaplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Cordera to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kaplan booed when C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Kaplan booed when C.S. y D. Rene Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Tristan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abelardo Ledesma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Kaplan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE throughout the match.
