Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Beltrán City FC's Leandro Gasteiz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's zone, Sven-Arne Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Frascuelo came out of the goal and Sven-Arne Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Sven-Arne Lindgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Danilo Frascuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Danilo Frascuelo got control of the ball when Leandro Gasteiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to NEWELL´S OLD BOYS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eustacio Hitz hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Arne Lindgren in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Frascuelo saved NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting behind. Jonathan Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Danilo Frascuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Leandro Gasteiz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Frascuelo. In the 25th minute, Leandro Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Amancio Magdaleno fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's protests and gave Amancio Magdaleno a yellow card for diving instead. Amancio Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Leandro Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beltrán City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Gasteiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes NEWELL´S OLD BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Roman Kismi. Leandro Gasteiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Frascuelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Beltrán City FC's Eevald Kadarpik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Magdaleno in the 37th minute of play. Eevald Kadarpik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Magdaleno was the one to do the kick off. Leandro Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Aggelos Myroforidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beltrán City FC and the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Beltrán City FC got a freekick which was hit by Aggelos Myroforidis. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Danilo Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Gasteiz in the 61st minute of play. Leandro Gasteiz scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Frascuelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Beltrán City FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
