With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Eufrasio in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Tristan saved C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE from getting behind. Gaston Frichoso struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Rene Tristan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT. Alejandro Eufrasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rene Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Eneko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victoriano Acosta in the 13th minute. Saul Maureo, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rene Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Frichoso in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Rene Tristan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Frichoso in the 25th minute of play. Cristian Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Alejandro Eufrasio charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Eufrasio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Eufrasio. Emiliano Eneko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Paulin. 42 minutes into the game, Alejandro Eufrasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rene Tristan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejandro Eufrasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rene Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Victoriano Acosta charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Acosta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gaston Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Frichoso couldn't finish the play. Rene Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Savion in the 55th minute of play. Cipriano Paulin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rene Tristan was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Gaston Frichoso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaston Frichoso really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 70 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Frichoso came free, but Rene Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Savion in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT defense, Tomas Laurgain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Eneko. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Eneko should have stopped the shot. After having played for 76 minutes, Alejandro Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Eufrasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
