Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Gasteiz started the match with the kick off. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Danilo Frascuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting a goal against them. Danilo Frascuelo stood somewhat misplaced when Felipe Gasteiz came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. 2-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Honorio Nikola elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Honorio Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Gasteiz had several of the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Danilo Frascuelo as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 21 in the game by Felipe Gasteiz from a close distance when the talented Danilo Frascuelo managed to make a qualified save. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's players were relieved. When Amancio Magdaleno came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Magdaleno couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Stat Veritas FC's Honorio Nikola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Frascuelo. Danilo Frascuelo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The Stat Veritas FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Stat Veritas FC's Felipe Gasteiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Saul Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Magdaleno in the 36th minute of the match. Amancio Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Gomez having to interfere. Danilo Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Erasmo Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Gomez having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Magdaleno was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS defense, Honorio Nikola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Frascuelo. The NEWELL´S OLD BOYS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Frascuelo should have stopped the shot. Saul Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Magdaleno in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Felipe Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Caitano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stat Veritas FC:s goal. Danilo Frascuelo had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Mete Piña's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS booed when Stat Veritas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Hitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Saul Gomez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aurelio Hitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Saul Gomez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Aurelio Hitz fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's protests and gave Aurelio Hitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Aurelio Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Nikola in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Frascuelo saved NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Erasmo Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Gasteiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Stat Veritas FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Stat Veritas FC's Honorio Nikola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felipe Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Frascuelo having to interfere. Danilo Frascuelo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stat Veritas FC's Felipe Gasteiz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Felipe Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stat Veritas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Gasteiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes of play, Stat Veritas FC's Felipe Gasteiz made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Frascuelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Gasteiz came free, but Danilo Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes NEWELL´S OLD BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Balendin. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stat Veritas FC had played much better football throughout.
