The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Wasabi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Safer should have stopped the shot. Sonny Safer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 76th minute, Maní FC's Domingos Salomone dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. The Wasabi FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maní FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
