In the 41st minute, Jarbas Dantas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zacarias Leoiar, passed just outside the right post. Cayetano Fanuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Abilio to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Leoiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Segundo Ponce got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cayetano Fanuco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
