Anibal Jobo hit a great ball. Djimmy Guimard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Selatse went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Diego Tanio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Calistrat Păsărin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calistrat Păsărin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Lopes in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Selatse in the 32nd minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djimmy Guimard came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Trapiche's Felipe Garcia. But to his dismay, Felipe Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Djimmy Guimard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Djimmy Guimard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes El Patriarca ®'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Garcia who took care of the corner kick. Trapiche's Isaac Selatse was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Djimmy Guimard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaroslaw Gleba to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jaroslaw Gleba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Djimmy Guimard. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 56th minute, Anibal Jobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaroslaw Gleba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Djimmy Guimard made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Gleba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Djimmy Guimard was relentless in the 65th minute of the game.
