The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Rodas in the 14th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Lolo Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Masters United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Felix Ramond. Anibal Manilan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artemio Cristofor having to make a save. After 22 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Ramos. Thanks to some nice moves Lázaro Abar could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Artemio Cristofor however easily saved by the left post. Anibal Manilan had several of the Masters United F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Artemio Cristofor as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 32nd minute, Masters United F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lázaro Abar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 43rd minute Anibal Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
