After 4 played minutes STARK F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Abascal. When Sebastian Dayam fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STARK F.C.'s protests and gave Sebastian Dayam a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Estación Q. booed when STARK F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Ebardo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Estación Q.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARK F.C. the free kick. When Antonio Barijho came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the STARK F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Barijho couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The STARK F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Estación Q. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
