Cayetano Florinio made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Filomeno Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Silbestre in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernado Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 11 in the game by Prudencio Onofre from a close distance when the talented Cayetano Florinio managed to make a qualified save. Liberland's players were relieved. A collision led to Pegale De Puntín getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Prudencio Onofre hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, one of Pegale De Puntín:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pegale De Puntín. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Liberland. Rafael Erramun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernado Lima. 0-1. Fernado Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Pegale De Puntín's Tomás Quinten got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Prudencio Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Venancio Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Silbestre in the 31st minute of play forced Pegale De Puntín's goalkeeper Fernado Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pegale De Puntín's Fernado Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Rutenio in the 32nd minute of play. Fernado Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Rutenio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Pegale De Puntín's Fernado Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Rutenio in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pegale De Puntín defense, Pastor Rutenio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernado Lima. The Pegale De Puntín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernado Lima should have stopped the shot. Liberland's Cayetano Florinio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Liberland from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Silbestre made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Venancio Cordearo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Fernado Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Rutenio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Venancio Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Liberland's Pastor Rutenio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 70 minutes into the game, Venancio Cordearo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Cayetano Florinio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Prudencio Onofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Pastor Rutenio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernado Lima. The goal made the score 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Onofre in the 79th minute of play forced Liberland's goalkeeper Cayetano Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Pegale De Puntín's Venancio Cordearo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Florinio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Pegale De Puntín's Prudencio Onofre got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venancio Cordearo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Florinio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Venancio Cordearo made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Florinio. Liberland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Pastor Rutenio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernado Lima. That made the score 4-6 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th minute Rafael Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernado Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liberland's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
