ManagerZone Academy's Di Bu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Tiadoro in the 11th minute of play. If Natalio Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Tiadoro struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Di Bu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florida Gulf Coast. Fabio Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lucio Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Jacob in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Florida Gulf Coast's Lucio Geofredo got control of the ball when Moises Marcones tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Florida Gulf Coast walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
