Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Nahuel Losada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Licerio in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejo Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Nahuel Losada successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Oskitz in the 64th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Nahuel Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Cipriano Darien threw the ball into play from the sideline. Independiente's Manuel Henry quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With an all-out effort, Independiente's Nahuel Losada threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cornelio Oskitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nahuel Losada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Licerio in the 90th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Independiente players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
