Patricio Rey Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Fero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfredo Fero took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Mancio. Samuel Mancio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 34 minutes of play, Loco De Remate's Jesus Librado made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Cordeara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Fero in the 42nd minute of play. Godfredo Fero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Mancio having to make a save. After the first half Patricio Rey Futbol Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Fero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Librado in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Cordeara saved Patricio Rey Futbol Club from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Samuel Mancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Salvino. 79 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Fero came free, but Samuel Mancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Fero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Samuel Mancio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Resto to maneuver through the defense. The Loco De Remate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Patricio Rey Futbol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
