Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charles Darwin kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Harri in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Heriberto saved Los Delfines from getting behind. Trendafil Katúrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Horacio Heriberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Darwin during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Charles Darwin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Javier Pastore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Luis Ekhi. La Panchera's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Charles Darwin 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Alejandro Illan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Santo Dimo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the game, Anacleto Harri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Panchera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Delfines the free kick. La Panchera's Santo Dimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save La Panchera from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Los Delfines defense, Javier Pastore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Heriberto. The Los Delfines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Heriberto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Darwin in the 23rd minute of play forced La Panchera's goalkeeper Santo Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Charles Darwin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Dimo. La Panchera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Darwin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 31 played minutes La Panchera got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Lehen. In the 33rd minute Alejandro Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Trendafil Katúrov sped through Los Delfines's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horacio Heriberto. In the 38th minute, Anacleto Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Darwin in the 47th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Charles Darwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Panchera's Santo Dimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Pastore to make the kick off. Maximiliano Atarrabi struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Horacio Heriberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Panchera. Javier Pastore had several of the Los Delfines's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Horacio Heriberto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Charles Darwin took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Dimo. Santo Dimo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. 60 minutes into the match, La Panchera's goal looked a bit too open when Sacha Boey came free, but Santo Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Sacha Boey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Dimo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. In the 64th minute, Charles Darwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Darwin in the 66th minute of the match. Santo Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Darwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Delfines were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after La Panchera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Illan took the corner. In the 78th minute, Javier Pastore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Heriberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-5. 81 minutes into the match, La Panchera's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Darwin came free, but Santo Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Ekhi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, La Panchera's Maximiliano Atarrabi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Trendafil Katúrov took a quick shot and it went in 6-6 without a chance for Horacio Heriberto to make any attempt to save it. Javier Pastore's late challenge caught a Los Delfines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Pastore helped the player get up and apologised. La Panchera's Santo Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Darwin in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Los Delfines's Charles Darwin made it 7-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Dimo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Delfines fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Panchera had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
