Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Dimas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Cordeara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Patricio Rey Futbol Club booed when Trinchera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Fero to make the kick off. Pascual Lop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Cordeara having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Godfredo Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Fero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Fero, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Godfredo Fero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Patricio Rey Futbol Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cesare Prisco hit a great ball. Lino Illart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Benigno Cordeara made a huge save. Trinchera FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Patricio Rey Futbol Club to leave the ground with a draw.
