Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ignacio Derwin started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Arnaldo Darien got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute, Arnaldo Ekain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Ieltxu during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Aristides Ieltxu got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ambrosio Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Edelmiro Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in PATADAS S.A's zone, Ignacio Derwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Ofelio came out of the goal and Ignacio Derwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Ieltxus short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Nestor Ofelio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when PATADAS S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Vimaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, PATADAS S.A's goalkeeper Nestor Ofelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Ieltxu. Marlin FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after PATADAS S.A's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guaberto Quico took the corner. The corner led Marlin FC's Guaberto Quico to fire away a dangerous shot which Nestor Ofelio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Daunte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Silban scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Quilino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edelmiro Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Edvaldo Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Quico kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Marlin FC's Guaberto Quico got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Geronimo Isadore hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Edelmiro Silban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Edelmiro Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 79th minute of play forced PATADAS S.A's goalkeeper Nestor Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulo Madaleno fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlin FC's protests and gave Paulo Madaleno a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Madaleno. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Paulo Madaleno hit a great ball. Guaberto Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nestor Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 92 minutes on the clock, Robustiano Heriberto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 94 minutes into the game, Israel Goiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ambrosio Quilino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 98 minutes into the game, Israel Goiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PATADAS S.A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlin FC the free kick. In the 98th match minute, PATADAS S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Goiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute Guaberto Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Ofelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PATADAS S.A had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
