Apolo Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Passet having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas AFC's zone, Fabian Bernard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Gervaso came out of the goal and Fabian Bernard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 played minutes Copetonas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Martino. With his leg Alejandro Gervaso managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Fabian Bernard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 35 in the game by Fabian Bernard from a close distance when the talented Alejandro Gervaso managed to make a qualified save. Copetonas AFC's players were relieved. Fabian Bernard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Alejandro Gervaso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The wind increased when Tomás Santos made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas AFC's zone, Sebastian Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Gervaso came out of the goal and Sebastian Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Copetonas AFC defense, Fabian Bernard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Gervaso. The Copetonas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Gervaso should have stopped the shot. Copetonas AFC's Alejandro Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Bernard in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas AFC's zone, Fabian Bernard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Gervaso came out of the goal and Fabian Bernard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Bernard in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Leon Gilen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Copetonas AFC's Alejandro Gervaso didn't even have to move. Saturnino Justin got in the 82nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alejandro Gervaso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 83 minutes, Robustiano George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copetonas AFC and the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robustiano George hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Justin came free, but Alejandro Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Justin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Gervaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Saturnino Justin took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Gervaso. Alejandro Gervaso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
