Ramon Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Alejandro Gervaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Confesor's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas AFC's zone, Felix Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Gervaso came out of the goal and Felix Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rogelio Confesor sped through Copetonas AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alejandro Gervaso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Confesor in the 17th minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rogelio Confesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Confesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Gervaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severo Loco hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alejandro Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristo Stoichkov in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Anselmo Atarrabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes of play, Ripa FC's Hristo Stoichkov made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Gervaso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34thth minute of the game Severo Loco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ripa FC's Martin Miro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejandro Gervaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Confesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Lizbeth in the 43rd minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Martin Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Atarrabi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Walme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Lizbeth in the 62nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Apolo Lizbeth sped through Ripa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Miro. When Ripa FC's Rogelio Confesor in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Alejandro Gervaso saved Copetonas AFC from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Confesor. Ramon Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ildefonso Bordat hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ripa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
