Lucio Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami CF. Boquenses made a substitution. Joaquin Martxot replaced Damian Bero. Boquenses's Lucio Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Maties in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Armando Matia got control of the ball when Rodrigo Frichoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Boquenses supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boquenses would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
