The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Maraman got free with Ernesto Sesuldo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's Apolo Ruy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Sesuldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sportivo Ben Hur's Bruno Maraman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Sesuldo. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. A collision led to Sportivo Ben Hur getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Apolo Ruy hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Beto Píriz Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Píriz Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Apolo Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cachila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Píriz Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Felix Malvin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Beto Píriz Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Maureo. Sportivo Ben Hur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto Píriz Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. A.A. Cachila played a much better game than Sportivo Ben Hur and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Ben Hur players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
