An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Birjaio in the 71st minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Ovidio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81st play minutes Ignacio Ebere shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Ovidio Maureo and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Maraman got free with Javier Milei in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidio Maureo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Cordobé went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Club El Progreso were the better team. Club El Progreso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
