An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Socorro in the 3rd minute of play forced Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Nereo Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Falconara Albanese's Modesto Socorro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Clodoveo Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvi Boton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Galoer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Modesto Socorro put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nereo Jurgi. If Modesto Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Casimiro Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Modesto Socorro sped through Alvi Boton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nereo Jurgi.
