The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Quiroga got free with Severiano Rafe in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severiano Rafe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Quiroga in the 11th minute. Federales FC Ψ OFF's Silas Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Guillelmus in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Teofilo Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Federales FC Ψ OFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Rafe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Federales FC Ψ OFF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Madison were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Naldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Uzuri in the 53rd minute of play forced Federales FC Ψ OFF's goalkeeper Silas Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Federales FC Ψ OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Uzuri came free, but Silas Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madison's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustino Avellaneda in the 55th minute. Brahim Boutabout hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Teofilo Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 60th minute Teofilo Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Madison booed when Federales FC Ψ OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Pheulpin didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Madison's Faustino Avellaneda in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Madison booed when Federales FC Ψ OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Galvan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
