Sebastian Saja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, Godofredo Polo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri. Sergio Romeri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Cuervos AFC's Blas Burni got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sebastian Saja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Demario in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Jonatan Santiago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahía é Carnaval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Demario in the 24th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Saja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Saja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Demario went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Cuervos AFC's Cláudio Biaggio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Romeri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Saja came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahía é Carnaval's Jonatan Santiago. But to his dismay, Jonatan Santiago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Francisco Gagriel's late challenge caught a Cuervos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Gagriel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Francisco Gagriel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Cláudio Biaggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romeri having to interfere. Cláudio Biaggio in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sergio Romeri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Horacio Lia hit a great ball. When Prospero Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Prospero Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. Prospero Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ismael Martxel, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sergio Romeri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cláudio Biaggio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 45 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Biaggio made a kick off. Cuervos AFC's Sebastian Saja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cuervos AFC from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Biaggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute of the match Cuervos AFC got a corner. Bahía é Carnaval's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ismael Martxel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Cuervos AFC's corner Ismael Martxel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergio Romeri quite easily take care of the ball. Cláudio Biaggio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sergio Romeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Sergio Romeri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Biaggio's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Cláudio Biaggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romeri having to interfere. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
